Creating these fake animal crackers was no small feat. We spent countless hours researching how to make molds & finding the best materials to use. It wasn’t cheap either—we easily spent over $200 trying out different products to get the process just right. First, we had to buy a variety of animal crackers to find the perfect shapes. After choosing the right ones, we had to purchase even more bags just to get enough giraffes to cast a mold from. Then came the mold-making process, which required containers, mold-making supplies, & resin to create the crackers. We also had to buy several different paints to get the colour exactly right.

The process of making the molds & casting the crackers out of resin takes several days. And that’s just the start. My wife, who did 99.9% of the work, hand-painted each cracker to make them look incredible. But we didn’t stop there. She also blended a secret ingredient into the paint to give the back of the crackers the exact texture of real animal crackers. This way, when your volunteers reach into the bag, the crackers will feel authentic, & you can perform with confidence, knowing they won’t suspect a thing.

Sure, we could’ve just spray-painted them ivory & hoped they passed under the radar, but as a professional magician, I expect more—& I believe you do too. If these crackers had been available with the original trick, I would’ve bought them in a heartbeat instead of going through this grueling process.
